Abstract Body : Anatomy is the basis of the medical sciences and its study requires a considerable visual identification capacity, through this, the use of social networks becomes essential. Instagram is one of the most popular social networks in the world being used daily by millions of university students. Consequently, it is a promising environment for learning anatomy due to its easy access, for be a free service and has numerous tools that can be used as active methodologies, for example the Instagram test, considering the application of this resource is scarce. The objective of this study was to evaluate the perceptions of students and the effectiveness of the Instagram test as an anatomy learning tool. An exploratory, cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach was conducted with 110 students in the anatomy discipline. For the realization of the proposed activity, an anatomy test was created on Instagram, consisting of about 10 questions related to the locomotor system with the indication of a pin in the anatomical structure that should be answered by the students, after the stipulated deadline (24h) the program sends the right and wrong answers. Conclusively, students were asked if the experience of taking the test was satisfactory. The results showed that the Instagram Test can be used in the anatomy learning process. It was observed that the participants were in the age group of 18 to 35 years, with 80% belonging to the female sex. And that 81.1% found the use of an excellent tool, it was also found that 96.4% of respondents reported that the anatomy quiz helped in understanding the anatomy content, while 0.9% reported that they did not learn something new from the anatomy test. The Instagram test had an excellent evaluation of students as a tool to motivate, arouse interest and review content in a creative and dynamic way, promoting the ability to present, evaluate and contextualize with regard to the anatomical structures addressed.
