Please join us for a special viewing of, “Until The Well Runs Dry: Medicine & the Exploitation of Black Bodies”. This 60-minute documentary chronicles the nefarious practice of grave robbing from Black cemeteries in 19th century Richmond, Virginia for the purpose of medical dissection. Present-day attitudes and downstream impact on healthcare in Black communities is revealed through interviews of longtime Richmond residents. The film will be followed by a 30-minute Q&A session with film director and screenwriter, Dr. Shawn O. Utsey and AAA members.
