Kailie Batsche's research interests lie at the intersection of several fields, including anatomy, evolutionary biology, and paleontology. By examining the microscopic features of bone, such as the arrangement of collagen fibers (i.e., collagen fiber orientation), she is able to gain insights into the locomotor behavior and biology of both extinct and extant organisms.
