Aiden graduated in Medicine in 2011. After completing his clinical rotations, he embarked on a career in academia and research. Aiden completed a Postgraduate Diploma and a PhD in Molecular Medicine focusing on healthcare associated infections. He has taught Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology on a number of undergraduate and postgraduate pre-registration healthcare programmes including Medicine. His primary teaching expertise is Anatomy in Medical Education. Aiden currently teaches Anatomy to medical students at BSMS. He also contributes on a number of courses including, Physician Associate programme, MSc Radiology, and leads on some external courses including courses for the Royal College of Surgeons. Aiden is also a Person Designate for the HTA licence. Aiden’s principal research interests are in the fields of inclusivity, curriculum, assessments, pedagogy and medical microbiology.
