I majored in Biology and then defended my PhD in biological Anthropology in 2004 at the Univ. Bordeaux, France. In 2005-06, I was a postdoc in the department of Anthropology at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. For two years (2007-2008), I was a postdoc at the department of Radiology at the University Hospital of Innbruck, Austria. From 2008-2014, I was a research associate at the department of Anthropology at the Pennsylvania State University, PA. From 2014-2017, I was a researcher at Univ. Bordeaux, France. In 2017, I have been recruited as a permanent researcher at the French national center for scientific research (CNRS).
I research craniofacial morphogenesis, human variation and evolution with an emphasis on the correspondence between genotype and phenotype. I used CT and MRI data from humans, non-human primates and mouse models to quantify phenotypic variation.
