Paxton Martin is a second year medical student at Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (SHSUCOM) in Conroe, Texas. He is an Ensign in the United States Navy Medical Corps and member of the Health Professions Scholarship Program. He holds a Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences from Texas A&M University. He currently serves as the chair of professional development and national liason officer for the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons - Medical Student Section, SHSUCOM chapter.
His academic interests include anatomical sciences, surgery, radiology, and medical education. His research endeavors include works in agricultural integrated pest management solutions, agricultural molecular diagnostics, and ultrasound/micro-computed tomography imaging of human cranial suture anatomy and trauma.
