Hi, I am a master's student at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences interested in the study of crocodylomorph neuroanatomy and sensory capabilities along ecological niche transitions. Modern crocodylians have unique highly sensitive somatosensory organs called integumentary sensory organs that sense minute changes in water pressure allowing them to hunt in murky low visibility waters. I am interested in the evolutionary history and mechanisms of evolution that resulted in this unique sensory apparatus.
