Ultrasound has proven itself critical in the practice of evidence based anesthesia. Dr. Taylor will detail the role that ultrasound in anesthetic procedures (such as peripheral nerve blocks) and bedside assessments (such as gastric imaging). Most importantly he will explore his journey as an educator implementing ultrasound into UAB's anesthesia curriculum, solidifying ultrasounds presence in future anesthesia providers.
